Beans and Spinach Soup
Put 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth and 1 ten ounce package frozen chopped spinach in a pot over mediumn heat. Simmer until spinach is thawed. Add a can of dark red kidney beans, a can of light red kidney beans, a can of black beans, a can of great Northern beans, a can of pinto beans, and 1/4 cup vegetable oil. (all cans are 15 ounce cans) Season with 1 Tablespoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
