Almond Energy Bars
Lightly grease a square baking pan.
Combine the following and spread over the bottom of the prepared pan:
½ cup softened butter
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup oats
½ cup whole wheat flour
½ cup regular flour
¼ cup wheat germ
The grated rind of one orange.
Combine the following and spread on top of the other mixture:
2 eggs
1 cup slivered almonds
¼ cup raisins
¼ cup brown sugar
Bake at 325 for 35 minutes.
Cool before cutting into squares.
